Tsunami Relief 2005
The United Auburn Indian Community and the Rumsey Band of Wintun Indians jointly donated $1 million to charities for tsunami relief efforts in south Asia and east Africa. The donation will be split equally between two charitable organizations: Save The Children and Habitat For Humanity International. Tribal delegates recently traveled to Atlanta to present the Habitat for Humanity International donation to President Carter.
