This will be the sound of the holiday season that Loretta Sisneros
and her family will remember this year. This morning after her sister,
brother, brother-in-law and mother hit smaller jackpots, ranging from
$1000 to $5000, Loretta hit the big one: $145,000.
“I still can't believe it happened,” said Loretta.
Thunder Valley Casino general manager Scott Garawitz says neither
can he.
“We have multiple people win, or the same people win multiple times
all the time. But it was weird that it was one single family that got
so lucky,” said Garawitz.
Garawitz maintains that the machines are completely random.
As for Loretta, here from Maui visiting family here in Sacramento,
she has her own idea on how all this happened.
“I think it's a little help from above,” said Loretta.
Loretta plans to share the winnings with her family for
Christmas.
