Kahl Muscott, Auburn Recreation District supervisor, said there are a
few vendor spaces still available.
Code Blue, a family friendly rock 'n' roll band, will perform. Other
festivities include scarecrow and giant pumpkin contests with more than
$6,500 in total prize money, a Halloween-style costume contest and
parade with cash prizes, carnival games, 50 booths featuring local
artisans and community groups, Inflate the Fun bounces houses and
more.
Major sponsors are Auburn Chamber, Auburn Journal, Auburn Recreation
District, Auburn Exchange Club, Ceronix, Hometown Realtors, Harris
Industrial Gases, Law offices of Nina Salarno Ashford, Thunder Valley
Casino and KAHI AM 950.
A generous donation from Norma Harris on behalf of her granddaughter, Ashley, helped enable the committee to offer the highest prize money ever at the ninth annual event.
