Native American Heritage Month Celebrated with Unveiling of Special Collection

By LincolnPublicLibrary

The Lincoln Public Library is celebrating Native American Heritage Month during November with the unveiling of a special collection that features books, videos, music, and an online resource about and written by Native Americans. Thanks to contributions from the United Auburn Indian Community, this collection was made possible.

Many of these new acquisitions will be on special display in the Library during November. After November, these items can be found interfiled the Library’s collection to ensure maximum use by our users. Children in the area are already using these resources for school assignments and reading.

For more information, contact Lincoln Public Library at Twelve Bridges at www.libraryatlincoln.org, 916 434-2410, or library@ci.lincoln.ca.us .
