Community Development
Programs | Community Development
The United Auburn Indian Community plans to build a residential community located on 1,100 acres in the rolling foothills of northwest Placer County in Northern California. Surrounded by gently sloping annual grasslands, oak savanna, and wetlands, approximately 110 residential homes will be developed.
In keeping with our devotion to the environment, the homes will avoid wetlands and other biological resources. Their design, moreover, will interact harmoniously with the surrounding environment. Large expanses of open space will be preserved and natural drainages will be incorporated into a trail system that will weave its way though our community.
