Grants are limited to non-profit organizations and schools located in Placer and Nevada counties and to agencies based elsewhere whose programs significantly impact residents there.
 
 
    • Grants are made between $500 and $5000
    • Grants are judged on merit and availability of resources
    • Multi-year requests will not be considered
    • Not-for-profit agencies must be successfully operational for a minimum of three years
    • Eligible applicants may request funding once in a calendar year
 

 

Ineligible for Funding 

 

UAIC Community Giving Program does not fund the following:

    • Loans
    • Deficits or retroactive funding
    • Advertising or promotional sponsorships
    • Religious-based activities
    • Individuals or individual sponsorships
    • Political or legislative causes, organizations, or individuals
    • Government programs
    • Endowments or Community Funds
    • Service Clubs/Organizations
    • Umbrella or Pass-through Agencies
    • Personnel/Staffing Expenses
    • Agencies/organizations successfully operating for less than three (3) years
