Community Giving


Grant applications are accepted in the spring and fall of each year.

The next Submission Deadline is:


September 16, 2022

The UAIC asks applicants to carefully review all information below before applying.

Grant Information:

Qualifying non-profit organizations and schools located in Placer and Nevada counties are given priority in grant consideration. After which, grant opportunities may be open to agencies outside of Placer and Nevada counites if, these programs meet grant qualifications and prove to significantly impact their communities.

    • Recipients will be awarded between $500 and $5000
    • Grants are judged on merit and availability of resources
    • Requests for long term or ongoing funding will not be considered             
    • Not-for-profit agencies must be successfully operational for a minimum of (3) three years
    • Eligible applicants may apply and receive funding once in a calendar year

Step 2: Complete Form and Gather Documentation

Fill out the Non-Profit Application form and gather ALL supporting documents. (If submitting online, please save all documents as one file if possible.)


Step 3: Submit Application

For online submissions:

1. Select Submit an Application
2. Fill out the online submission form
3. Upload:

    • The completed Non-Profit Application form (answer all questions, 1-9)
    • Include ALL required supporting documentation

4. Once complete click the submit button
